Note from TP
All went well with Rotary. Just two little hiccups.
- Couldn’t find any Gaffer’s Tape. Ended up using some “Strapping Tape” that was on a peg to tape down the HDMI cable from the Back Plate to the Podium. Not the best type of tape to use, but it worked. It would be nice to have a supply of regular Gaffer’s Tape available.
- AP, you are already aware of this. At about 7:35a, the Crestron completely reset itself. Projector turned off and the screen started rolling up smack dab in the middle of the presentation by the Tempe spokesperson. I bit of an embarrassing situation which I tried to resolve quickly, but it appeared somebody else was using a remote iPad. This now is the second time such an issue happened. The first is when I was doing a Live Vespers with Chaplain Peter about four months ago. We need to make sure something like this doesn’t happen especially in the middle of critical presentation.
