Can you even imagine?  I’ve been retired from the railroad for over 37 years now. Haven’t really worked a day since then, 1983. . When you are doing something, you really love to do, I figure, it isn’t really work although I admit that I have put in some eighteen hour and twenty-hour days.

I figure that the whole trick in being happy is to discover what your special talents are, what you love doing and then find a way to make a good living doing it. I sort of summed up my feelings about life and I’ve shared it with millions of people along the way. It is called Growth. If you like it pass it on. If you don’t, I understand.

Positively, Art

Growth
Art Fettig 1979

I don’t ever want to be what I want to be.
There is always something out there yet for me.
I get a kick from living in the here and now,
Yet,  I never want to feel I’ve learned the best way how.
There is always one hill higher with a better view.
Something waiting to be learned that I never knew.
‘Til my life is over never fully fill my cup
Just let me keep on growing, Up! Up! Up!

Now the message I’m bringing you is this,
There is Greatness In You!
The greatest untapped resource we have in this world
Is the human potential.
Oh yes! There is greatness in you!  In every one of you!
