Taking charge of your mind is a thoughtful, reflective, solitary process.

Know Your Mind
Just the other day I sat down and tried to cool off and I said to myself, “What are you thinking?”

Then just yesterday I received this thought for the day from the Napoleon Hill Foundation. www.naphill.org  You might enjoy receiving it daily, free.

“Know your own mind, and you will be as wise as the sages.
When you take charge of your mind, you take charge of your life. When you understand your thoughts, feelings, emotions, and desires, you can direct them to any end you choose. Wisdom comes from taking the time to study yourself, to know why you are the person you are.

Taking charge of your mind is a thoughtful, reflective, solitary process. Only you can come to understand the complex inner workings of your own mind, and you must be willing to spend the time and effort that gaining such insight requires.”

There are still a lot of things I fail to understand about the way I think and act but this above bit of wisdom inspires me to make a greater effort to do a better job.

Say Something Good
A friend of mine named Dan Hornack, also known as actor Jake Thorne is a dead ringer for the famed actor John Wayne.  Dan does a wonderful show titled “Keeping the Legend Alive-An Evening with the Duke” and when Dan gets into his western garb you’d swear that John Wayne was there with you. I was just thinking of what is good about America and I guess it is that there is so much great theatre for us to choose from local theatre groups; wonderful shows by individuals like Dan and then the  most professional theatre shows direct from New York are all out there competing and it makes for a marvelous mix. May God bless America and bring peace throughout the world.

Points To Ponder
Ideas can be life-changing. Sometimes all you need  to open the door is just one more good idea. Jim Rohn

A Little Humor
“We are going to continue having these meetings, everyday, until I find out why no work is getting done.”

Quote of the Week
Ideas are the beginning points of all fortunes. Napoleon Hill
