That quote, is attributed to Nazi Field Marshal Hermann Göring, as recorded by psychologist Gustave Gilbert during the Nuremberg Trials, highlighting how leaders use fear of attack and demonization of dissenters (pacifists) to control populations, a tactic applicable in any nation.
