City of Maricopa – Traffic Hazard

Although there are lane markings to indicate that there is no right turn lane near the curb, many drivers ignore these markings and try to make three right turn lanes at this intersection.

Bill Fay, from the City of Maricopa, said “I will have a an engineer out there this week to assess whether or not that’s in compliance with national design standards. ”  As of to date, this hazard remains.
