I recently found an old newspaper clipping dated February 4, 1969 which is just fifty years ago today. It was a story about an exercise class at the YMCA and the photo in the Battle Creek Enquirer that day was me doing bends with a couple of dozen other members of this exercise class in Battle Creek, Michigan.There might have been some long lapses over this period but I have made a continued effort to do those same warm up exercises ever since then. So how am I doing? No heart problems , No diabetes. I take two pills a day and they are vitamins. No cancer. I even have a pretty good head of grey hair. July 5th will be my 90th birthday so at this moment I can give that exercise class a pretty good endorsement.
