Twenty Seven Eagles
I was just sitting here in my swivel chair looking at the stuff in my office. Some might call it clutter but to me it is a display of my best stuff and oh, the wonderful memories it brings back to me. I have five book cases in my office all stuffed with books and things. The tops of each bookcase display just some of my stuff. I was examining my beautiful eagles as I slowly circled the room from my chair.
I counted 27 eagles. I”m sure I missed some. Counting my buckles and rings and other eagle items I guess I once had over a hundred in my collection. When I was a young man I once dreamed of soaring like an eagle. Now I waddle around like a old duck. In my books I have captured a thousand memories. Yes, in my dreams I have soared like an eagle above a cloudy sky. What a joy! What a joy!
