A Mixed Bag–From Honky To Tonk

A Mixed Bag

Featuring the incredibly versatile Greg Brayton playing the songs of Art Fettig.

A Mixed Bag is a collection of songs by Art Fettig. It includes Country, Blues, Spirituals, Heavy Metal, Comedy, Jazz and some love songs that might be country but we can’t figure out which country. This CD might have been called “Songs to lift your spirits high” because you will laugh and cry and just feel better about yourself and the world after you listen to this unusal collection.

Ever buy a CD where every song sounds the same? Not this one. From the opening song, Karaoke, you will discover something new and exciting. Every lyric is out there where you can hear and understand it. Fettig captures the scene; from a Honky Tonk in Nashville to the Arctic Ocean and Prudhoe Bay. Rollin’Thunder captures the spirit of everyone who ever rode a Harley. Contrast that with the moving spiritual Let It Flow or the gut level blues Fire In My Belly. Dancin’ Rag even has a with Fettig, age 70, tap dancing like a kid again. Fettig has been entertaining audiences world-wide for over a quarater of a century as a “motivational-humorist.” Welcome To The 21st Century is perfect if you’ve faced corporate downsizing. An Instrument Of Thy Peace is an all new rendition of The Prayer of St.Francis of Assisi. Another rendition just bugged Fettig in church one day and so he wrote his own.

If you want more fun and a wider perspective of the world then Mixed Bag is for you.
