Bingo – October 5, 2024
Note from LL
There was a sudden blurry projection of the Bingo Board on October 5, 2024. The blurry projection lasted about 20 seconds, cleared, and then projected blurry again for about 20 seconds. After the second event, the projected image was clear for the next hour.
No one touched the Crestron downstairs or any devices upstairs in the control room.
For Bingo, I set up the projection from the Crestron on the floor level in Skirm. This was a clear image from 6:15PM until 7:04PM when the two events happened.
I took a picture of the devices upstairs in the control room.

Last occurrence: July 13, 2024. The blurry projection lasted almost a minute, then cleared after about 30 seconds. The projected image was clear for about 2 minutes. Then, there was a repeat of a blurry projected image for 30+ seconds followed by a clear projected image. On July 13, 2024, I did not take any pictures of the set up in the upstairs control room.
Possible Solutions
Note from TP
I noticed that the “Fast Focus” is turned on. That “might” be the cause of the problem.
Supposedly, pressing Fast Focus once zooms the camera in all the way, allowing the user to adjust the focus manually. Pressing Fast Focus again zooms the camera back out to the preset zoom position. Not sure if this would help the issue. Is the Fast Focus and the Auto Focus fighting each other? Not sure if this is working the way it is supposed to? It depends on issues with the camera.
